The Left Banke were a late 1960's band from New York with a unique sound. Critics labeled them "baroque-pop" due to the classical influences in their music. Besides three songs that hit the Billboard charts, "Walk Away Renee," "Pretty Ballerina," and "Desiree," the group left behind a legacy of music that influenced notable musicans ranging from Leonard Bernstein to Alice Cooper.

This is an exclusive collection of Left Banke related tracks. It contains Steve Martin Caro's mother Sarita Heredia's 1963 LP Flamenco Fire, pre-Left Banke singles by Christopher and the Chaps (Mike Brown), The Magic Plants (Tom Finn), Beckies related songs, and a bonus track of Mike Brown doing a short radio spot. These are very rare tracks meant to be shared for free with fans. If you use any of these songs for a podcast or other media, please link back to leftbanke.nu. Special thanks goes to Jim Witty, Caleb Dillon, Garage Hangover, Beyond The Beat Generation, Even and Glockenspiel Productions, and John Kennedy. I have made cover art that is printable and can be used in a CD jewel case. They are huge .tif files, made in CMYK format so I am offering them along with .jpg copies in a .zip file to save bandwidth. They will seem to be gigantic, but they need to be large in order to print properly. You can use a free program like coverxp to get them the right size for your jewel case. You will need a program like Winrar or 7-Zip to download these files. They will take a few minutes to download depending on your internet connection.
