The Left Banke were a late 1960's band from New York with a unique sound. Critics labeled them "baroque-pop" due to the classical influences in their music. Besides three songs that hit the Billboard charts, "Walk Away Renee," "Pretty Ballerina," and "Desiree," the group left behind a legacy of music that influenced notable musicans ranging from Leonard Bernstein to Alice Cooper.

»The Michael Brown Story

Even Johan Ottersland conducted a radio documentary in 2005 about Michael Brown in which he interviewed Michael, several of his former bandmates and people whom he worked with. The documentary is divided into 4 parts, each focusing on the groups Michael worked with over the years. Thanks alot to Even and Glockenspiel Productions for donating this to leftbanke.nu. This documentary is free to share with fans. If you use any parts of it for a podcast or other media, please credit us. I have made cover art that is printable and can be used in a CD jewel case. They are huge .tif files, made in CMYK format so I am offering them along with .jpg copies in a .zip file to save bandwidth. They will seem to be gigantic, but they need to be large in order to print properly. You can use a free program like coverxp to get them the right size for your jewel case. You will need a program like Winrar or 7-Zip to download these files. They will take a few minutes to download depending on your internet connection.
