»About
The Left Banke were a late 1960's band from New York with a unique sound. Critics labeled them "baroque-pop" due to the classical influences in their music.

Besides three songs that hit the Billboard charts, "Walk Away Renee," "Pretty Ballerina," and "Desiree," the group left behind a legacy of music that influenced notable musicans ranging from Leonard Bernstein to Alice Cooper.

»Jeff Winfield - The Switch
In the time between 1985 and 1986, original Left Banke lead guitarist Jeff Winfield wrote, arranged, and recorded several demos in New York City with various studio musicians and session vocalists, including Josie Kuhn. Guitars were played by Jeff, drums by Howie Wyeth, and saxophone by Frank Vicari.

Myself and others have taken the liberty of converting the demo tapes to digital. I used Adobe Audition to boost some of the audio and remove dead space. I drew the cover art and named this CD The Switch as a type of unofficial Jeff Winfield solo project.

I have made cover art that is printable and can be used in a CD jewel case. They are huge .tif files, made in CMYK format so I am offering them along with .jpg copies in a .zip file to save bandwidth. They will seem to be gigantic, but they need to be large in order to print properly. You can use a free program like coverxp to get them the right size for your jewel case.

You will need a program like Winrar or 7-Zip to download these files. They will take a few minutes to download depending on your internet connection.
